Beineu – Shymkent Gas Pipeline

Overview:

• Beineu - Shymkent Gas Pipeline,
• The pipeline is controlled 50/50 by KazTransGas and CNPC and is financed via a $1.8 billion syndicated secured loan facility from the state-owned China Development Bank (CDB).
• The project included a main gas pipeline established pursuant to intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan and the PRC.
• The project is implemented jointly by Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company KazMunayGas and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
