Addleshaw Goddard has hired two new financial services regulatory partners in its UK team.

Lorna Finlayson joins in Edinburgh from Burness Paull where she had headed the financial services regulatory practice.

Consumer finance specialist Clare Hughes joins from Eversheds in London and focuses on consumer finance.

Finlayson focuses on product and process compliance, as well as related commercial contracts, including FSMA and consumer credit regimes.

Hughes advises retail banks, credit card issuers, short term lenders, asset finance providers, brokers and debt collection businesses on transactions and regulatory issues involving the FCA.
