WANJA S. GITAU

Wanja is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 12 years post admission experience in the practice of law. She is responsible for directing and supporting a wide range of legal transactions, preparing and perfecting complex agreements and also mentoring and supervising members of her team.

• Representing the KCB Bank Kenya in take-over proceedings for a facility to the County for KES 3 Billion.
• Advising on a Client on registration as a Fund Manager and incorporation of a Fixed Income Fund and representation in discussions with the relevant State Agencies and Regulators.
• Advising and securing the interests of Co-operative Bank of Kenya (a leading Financier in Kenya), extending banking facilities worth KES 6 Billion to a corporate borrower.
• Provision of legal advisory services to realize titles for KEMSA’s properties across the Kenya values at KES 1 Billion and review KEMSA’s land acquisition policy.
• Conducting Legal Due Diligence on behalf of the IFC on a proposed Nairobi Waste to Energy Project for KENGEN valued at USD 350 Million.
