Thomas Zivny

Thomas Zivny joined CERHA HEMPEL in 2000 and has been a partner since 2008. He is primarily active in the field of capital markets, project finance, healthcare and corporate law. His team advises banks in connection with project financing in the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe, focussing in particular on real estate financing. The spectrum ranges from financing and restructuring to disposals and covers the entire life cycle of the real estate. In the field of debt capital markets, Thomas advises issuers of corporate bonds as well as bank issuance programmes.

• Advised IMMOFANZ AG on its successful placement of an unsubordinated, unsecured EUR 500 million benchmark bond issue.
• Advised CA Immobilien Anlagen AG on a successful debut placement of a EUR 350 million green bond.
• Advised UniCredit in relation to the extension, amendment and restatement of two loan facilities granted to shopping centers in Slovenia, which are operated by SPAR/SES.
• Advised Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG on the partial refinancing of an intercompany loan. 
• Advised Lifebrain s.r.l. as Austrian counsels in connection with a EUR 195 million Senior Facilities Agreement with, among others, Unicredit S.P.A., Natixis S.A., Milan Branch and Raiffeisen Bank International AG.
