Thomas Trettnak

Thomas has been with CERHA HEMPEL since 2004, made partner in 2010, and has headed the firm’s insolvency and restructuring team since then. The practice covers Austria and six CEE countries. He specializes in creditor protection, distressed M&A (often in the PE field), the reorganization of legal entities in financial distress, and all legal aspects in pre-insolvency and insolvency scenarios. 

• Advised SES-imagotag Group in a strategic joint venture with the Swiss Bossard Group for IoT solutions. 
• Advised PamperedChef on its market entry into Austria and co-counsel in its market entry into other European countries (Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, etc.).
• Advised in the restructurings of operations of EMIRATES in Austria.
• Advised various hotels in the insolvency proceedings of Thomas Cook Austria AG.
