  • Blackrose Chemical Limited proposed establishment of a state-of-the-art petrochemical development facility by Blackrose Chemicals Limited. This project is Nigeria’s first commercial-scale natural gas monetization initiative, designed to produce 2,250,000 metric tons per annum (TPA) of methanol.

  • Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Limited acquisition of participating interest in an Oil Mining Lease (OML) in Nigeria by Indorama and the conversion of the underlying asset from an unincorporated joint venture to an incorporated joint venture pursuant to the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021, in a single integrated transaction.

  • Seplat Energy Plc acquisition of 60% equity interest in Eko Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EKEDC) from West Power & Gas Limited (WPG).

  • Bureau of Public Enterprises disbursement of US$500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million Dollars) for the funding of the Distribution Sector Recovery Programme (“DISREP”) by the World Bank.
