She is renowned for her extensive experience in the business, privatisation, regulatory and power sectors given her active involvement in several power, oil, gas, project financing, power, and general corporate and commercial transactions. She authors articles in leading law publications and is currently leading the initiative on renewable energy transactions in her Firm.

  • Advised Helios Investors Genpar III LP in respect of its acquisition of interest in Oando Gas & Power Limited (including its subsidiaries – Central Gas Horizon Company Limited, Gas Networks Services Limited, and Gaslink Nigeria Limited);
  • Advised the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Nigerian Gas Company in relation to a tolling arrangement and collaboration with GFD Energy Limited for the conceptualization, financing, commercialization and marketing of natural gas to be produced from the Ehra gas field lying within OML 133;
  • Advising Black Rhino Development Group, Inc. in connection with its acquisition of interest in the proposed 530MW combined cycle Power Plant from the Mobil/NNPC Joint Venture;
  • Advising a Lender in connection with the financing of a 140MW independent integrated power plant being developed by a private investor in Aba, Abia state;
  • Advised NNPC/NAOC JV in relation to the establishment of a 450MW independent power plant in Kwale, Delta State, Nigeria. The project was the first successfully completed IPP since the commencement of the power sector reforms.
