  • Advising the Renaissance consortium in connection with the acquisition of the entirety of the shareholding in The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (“SPDC”).

  • Co-leading the team providing legal advisory services to the financiers of Chappal Energy’s acquisition of 100% shares in Equinor Nigeria Energy Company Limited. Equinor Nigeria Energy Company Limited holds significant participating interests in Oil Mining Leases (“OMLs”) 128 and 129 in Nigeria.

  • Advised the Bureau of Public Enterprises in connection with the World Bank’s disbursement of US$500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million Dollars) for the funding of the Distribution Sector Recovery Programme (“DISREP”).

  • Advising the Northern Nigeria Renewable Energy Company Limited on the development of a 2000MW Solar Power Project in Nigeria.

  • Advised a syndicate of international banks, global investment funds, and financial institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank, ABSA Bank Limited and the African Export-Import Bank in connection with the US$1,100,000,000 facility advanced to TNOG Oil and Gas Limited and TNOG Pipelines Limited (affiliates of Heirs Holdings and Transcorp Plc), for the acquisition of 45% participating interest in OML 17 from SPDC, TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited (“TotalEnergies”), and Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (“NAOC”).

  • Advised Dangote Fertilizers Limited (“DFL”) in connection with a gas supply arrangement with the SPDC Joint Venture (comprising the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, SPDC, TotalEnergies and NAOC) and the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria.

  • Advised ANOH Gas Processing Company Limited (an affiliate of Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc) in connection with the conceptualisation, structuring, development and construction of a proposed US$500,000,000 gas processing plant.
