Ms. Wei is a partner, resident in the Beijing office. Ms. Wei's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, fund establishment, asset management and capital markets, etc.

Ms. Wei has more than 15 years of experience in legal practice. Before joining Haiwen, Ms. Wei worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (in both Beijing and Hong Kong), during which she was seconded to China Investment Corporation and assisted in legal matters on fund investment.

  • Providing legal services for China Cinda, CICC, Taikang Asset, Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities, Beijing Gao Hua Securities, China Telecom, Capital Group, Advent International, CDH Investment, Hillhouse Capital, Baidu, HONY Capital and Air China, etc., in connection with operation compliance, equity and debt investment, convertible bonds, exchangeable bonds, debt-to-equity swap, establishment and investment of private equity funds and asset management, etc.
  • Assisting CICC, Ningbo Bank, Hang Seng Bank, Taikang Asset, Zhong Tou Zhong Cai, etc., in connection with establishment of domestic or Sino-foreign joint venture public fund managers and/or private fund managers, assisting HSBC on establishment of foreign-controlled securities company and other joint venture securities companies for equity adjustment.
