Mr. Ihab Hamdy is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Sarie Eldin & Partners Legal Advisors. He has been with the Firm since 2013 and has been practicing law for more than 17 years, where he has been representing a diverse number of our clients in commercial, civil and administrative courts cases. He has successfully led and managed numerous high-profile litigation cases, securing favourable outcomes for clients through diligent legal strategy. Ihab’s in-depth knowledge of financial regulations and corporate law has enabled him to handle cases involving complex commercial disputes, contractual conflicts, and high-value financial claims.  
 
Ihab regularly advises the Firm’s major clients on their daily corporate activities and transactions. His areas of practice include complex litigation cases, acquisitions, including conducting due diligence. He has an extensive experience in drafting and advising on Development, Operation and Investment agreements, and shareholders agreements. 
 
Ihab has also drafted the Guideline Regulations of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, which were approved by the Egyptian Olympic Committee. Additionally, he was a member of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Egyptian Basketball Federation for the year 2024. 

  • Advised Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) on Banan Project that was a collaboration between TMG and the National Housing Company in Saudi Arabia valued at SAR 11 Billion.

  • Advised Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) on the development of a smart, integrated residential city in Sultan Haitham City, Oman valued at 300 Million Omani riyal.

  • Successfully represented the EIS before the Court of Cassation regarding lawsuit related to credit facilities amounting to EGP 210 Million.

  • Successfully advised the Damietta Port Authority before the Court of Cassation setting aside the ICC arbitral award of EGP 7 Billion.

  • Successfully obtained a judgment in favor of Egyptian Mud Engineering and Chemicals Company (EMEC) in a tax dispute against Minister of Finance amounting USD 5.2 million.
