Cell C Proprietary recapitalisation

Overview:

• Cell C Proprietary has undertaken a recapitalization program to reduce its debt to ZAR8 billion. 
• 3C Telecommunications Proprietary, which is 75% owned by Oger Telecom Limited, will reduce its stake in Cell C to 35%.
• Blue Label is acquiring a 35% stake in the company.
• The management of Cell C will acquire the remaining 30%. 
• Investec acted as financial adviser to Blue Label Telecoms. 
• Goldman Sachs and Houlihan Lokey acted as financial advisers to Oger Telecom.
