Finavia €380 million expansion of Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

Overview:

• Finavia, the owner operator of all major Finnish airports, successfully obtained long term financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB)with bilateral loan agreements.
• The total amount of the loans is €380 million, of which EIB provided €230 million and NIB provided  €150 million.
• The proceeds are for financing a major expansion of the Helsinki-Vantaa international airport.
