Overview:

  • A new passenger terminal for domestic flights is being constructed at Khabarovsk International Airport to expand the air transport network and improve the airport's service quality, safety and efficiency.
  • The project is worth R4.9 billion, with R3.9 billion being jointly financed by the State Development Corporation and the Far East and Baikal Region Development Fund.
  • In February 2019, the Far East and Baikal Region Development Fund secured a R2 billion loan for the construction work.
  • Construction on the terminal should be completed in 2019.
