Overview:

  • Hella raised €570 million through a private placement of its shares with institutional investors. 
  • Having gone public in 2014 through a Frankfurt Stock Exchange IPO, the German automotive part supplier placed around 13.9 million shares. 
  • Following the transaction the company's free float increased to 28%.
  • The private placement was carried out through an accelerated bookbuilding process.
  • Bankhaus Lampe and Deutsche Bank were bookrunners on the deal.
