Overview:

  • French aerospace, defense, and security company Safran successfully issued €650 million of zero coupon OCEANE bonds due 2020.
  • The bonds were issued to the open Market, Freiverkehr, of the Frankfurt stock Exchange by way of private placement. 
  • This was the first convertible bond issued by Safran.
  • BofA Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole CIB acted as mandated lead arrangers.
