Vodafone has acquired Liberty Global European assets for €18.4 billion.
This is part of Vodafone's expanding scheme in Europe.
The deal includes the acquisitions of Liberty's Unitymedia in Germany and UPC's businesses in Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic.
Vodafone will enhance its existing mobile operations in the UPC's businesses.
