Nam Dinh 1 BOT 1200MW coal-fired power plant

Overview:

• Nam Dinh 1 is a $2.5 billion 1200MW coal-fired thermal project being developed by a consortium including ACWA Power, the largest private sector water and power company in Saudi Arabia, and Taekwang Power Holdings of Korea. 
• Nam Dinh 1 is an independent BOT power project and part of the 2400MW Nam Dinh thermal power complex in Nam Dinh.
• The construction of the plant is scheduled to be completed in late 2016 while the remainder of the power complex is expected to become commercially operational in 2021.
