Norwegian law firm Wiersholm has announced the arrival of two new partners to bolster its energy practice.

Sondre Dyrland and Thomas Naalsund join the team from Kluge, where both had been partners since 2010. Dyrland has extensive previous experience working in-house, having previously worked for Norsk Hydro and Norges Bank Investment Management. Prior to joining Kluge, Naalsund spent a decade in the Office of the Attorney General.

At the same time, Wiersholm has also announced the promotion of competition specialist Håkon Cosma Størdal to the firm's partnership. He has been with Wiersholm since 2013, havling previously worked in a number of key roles in Oslo and Brussels, most recently acting as the legal director of the Norwegian Competition Authority.
