Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has expanded its London based energy team with the addition of three partners from Hogan Lovells

Matthew Williams, John Deacon and Edward Humphries all join the team with Williams taking up the postion of co-head of the firm's Europe-wide energy practice. Williams and Deacon had both held managerial posts at Hogan Lovells.

The trio are following in the footsteps of fellow energy lawyer Colin Graham who made the same switch in 2014.

Williams acts on financing, M&A, commodity trading and regulatory matters in the energy and oil and gas sectors. Deacon focuses on renewable energy and advises on regulatory and trading matters. Humphries advises on energy and commodities trading and financing projects.
