Luca Cuomo is a highly regarded practitioner serving as the Head of Corporate M&A and Private Equity at DWF Italy.
Luca is one of the founders of DWF Italy, with 20 years of experience in M&A and has so established himself as a leading figure in the legal industry, advising both domestic and international clients.
He has been instrumental in guiding complex M&A and private equity deals and his expertise extends to assisting family-owned businesses in opening their capital to institutional investors, and in representing local and global corporate clients, private equity funds, commercial banks and their private equity partners in diverse M&A and private equity investments in various sectors including: fashion, design, food&beverage and media.

Additionally, he serves as a member of the Scientific Committee and lecturer at Il Sole 24 Ore Business School.

  • Assisted VAM Investments in Demenego's group sale, a leader in specialized optical centers in Northern Italy, to the leading French private equity fund Montefiore Investment.

  • Assisted La Prensa Group, a prominent Italian company specializing in the printing and finishing of labels for various products, primarily food and pet food on its sale to Unigrains Italia, a subsidiary of the leading European agro-food investment company.

  • Assisted VAM Investments, an Italian private equity operator, in the completion of the acquisition of the Orange and Egosistema groups, active in the fitness sector in the main Italian cities.

  • Assistance in the negotiation of all contractual documents related to the sale by the shareholders of Trinità S.p.A. – Industria Salumi of a majority stake in the company and the entire share capital of its subsidiaries in favour of a company controlled by Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR S.p.A., and in the negotiation of the documentation related to the governance of Trinità S.p.A. – Industria Salumi.
