Fatima is the Head of Telecommunications and Corporate Team in the Firm. Fatima has strong experience and knowledge about the Telecommunication Law and Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) rules & regulations and fully aware about the telecommunication operators activities. She renders various advices and assists our clients on all aspects of this dynamic and challenging business.

Fatima also specializes in Corporate Law, including company formation and registration, restructuring, liquidation, establishment of financial institutions, conducting due diligence exercises, and assisting in a number of merger and acquisition projects. 

Fatima also has experience in preparing written submissions for parties in litigation and arbitration.  

Fatima has experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.

  • Advised Solidarity Group Holding BSC(c) (“Solidarity) in: 

               othe acquisition of Al Ahlia Insurance Company B.S.C. (“AAIC”), and 
               othe subsequent merger between Solidarity’s existing subsidiary, Solidarity General Takaful B.S.C. (c) with AAIC

  • Conducted due diligence and provided transactional advice for a leading telecommunications company in Bahrain for the acquisition of another telecommunications company with a transaction value of more than $40 million.
  • Conducted due diligence on a leading company in the retail business with over 70 shop outlets, restaurants, and cafés in Bahrain. 
  • Assisted in setting up European water-heater factory, Ariston Thermo, in Bahrain, in compliance with the environmental regulations in Bahrain, and investment firm, EFG Hermes, in Bahrain, in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
