Faisal Al Hoshan is a partner in the Meysan Riyadh office. Faisal has more than 10 years of experience in advising clients in various corporate matters, he specializes Capital Markets, Restructuring and Regulatory matters.

A graduate of London’s Westminster University with master’s degree in Corporate Finance Law, Faisal is proficient and well-experienced in providing legal advice on complex matters under the Saudi law in the areas of corporate advisory and commercial transactions.

Before joining Meysan, Faisal was a legal advisor for an international law firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  • Advised Saudi Arabian listed bank Alawwal bank, whose largest shareholder is a consortium made up of RBS, Santander and a Dutch governmental entity, on its merger with fellow Saudi listed bank, The Saudi British Bank ("SABB"), whose largest shareholder is HSBC. The share for share merger had a deal value of approximately US$4.9 billion, making it the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia between two listed banks and one of the largest mergers of two Saudi listed companies.
  • Represented Zain KSA before courts in its commercial, administrative and employment litigations.
  • Actively involved in advising both Saudi Arabian and foreign clients on a wide range of corporate maters with a focus in dispute resolution.
  • Advised in a wide range of constructions disputes.
  • Prepared and filed Arbitration and Litigation cases including three major disputes that value more than 4 billion SAR.
