Ahmed Said Al Busaid

Ahmed is a senior associate in the Corporate and Capital Markets Department where he assists with drafting and registration of documents with the Oman Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Capital Market Authority, Ministry of Housing and the Muscat Clearing and Depository Company SAOC.  Ahmed also has vast experience in handling matters related to company formation such as establishing a branch, limited liability company, joint stock company and share transfers.

• Advising and completing share transfers and acquisitions of four energy companies based in Oman namely Dalma Energy & Co. LLC, Dalma Energy Global LLC, Dalma Energy National LLC and Dalma Energy International LLC.
• Acted in relation to grant of an Investment and Management Licence for all civil airports in Oman to a Government owned entity and usufruct agreements.
• Advised a regulatory authority in relation to drafting and conducting research pertaining the Executive Regulations of the relevant law.
• Acted for the buyers in an acquisition of a 51% total share capital of Al Jazeera Steel Products Company from Global Buyout Fund LP.
• Advised ETA Melco on Oman law aspects of its global restructuring exercise and rebranding as A G MELCO Elevator Company.
