Chancery Chambers is one of the more diversified law firms in the Caribbean. Based in Barbados, it provides a full complement of legal services to national and international clients. 

The Firm’s original pillars of practice are international commercial law, property law and charities law. The Firm’s strong professional relationships are enhanced by its participation in international legal networks such as LAW, Terralex and Globalaw. The Firm has developed beyond the established core competencies. In addition to the structured expansion programme for the existing legal practice areas, there is a bespoke litigation practice (civil litigation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution) operating as Chancery Advocates.In addition there is a dedicated corporate services division, Chancery Corporate Services Limited which is responsible for all aspects of corporate administration and management.

In association with the Caribbean Court of Justice, other legal and justice officers, international organisations and identified professionals, the Firm is pioneering efforts in justice reform for Barbados and the region, through involvement and support of APEX, the Arbitration and Mediation Court of the Caribbean, and efforts towards the digitization programmes for courts and public registries.

Clarke Gittens Farmer (‘CGF’) was founded in 2002 by Attorneys from Evelyn Gittens & Farmer merging their practice with Clarke & Co. CGF is one of the principal law firms in Barbados with 25 lawyers and has developed a reputation for high quality work. Some of the firm’s lawyers are qualified to practice in other jurisdictions which include Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

CGF is a full service commercial law firm, providing legal services in civil practice for both domestic and international corporate and private clients.
