Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer
was formed in June 2025 from the merger between Anglo-Australian firm Herbert Smith Freehills and the formerly New-York headquartered Kramer Levin. Both firms had offices in France dating back before the merger, with Herbert Smith Freehills being the longest established, having opened in Paris in 1964.
The team is led by Paris office managing partner Régis Oréal, and EMEA managing partner Nina Bowyer. the office has four senior partners handling corporate finance matters, with particular strengths in banking and finance, project financing and development, M&A, energy and infrastructure, and Africa-focused transactions.
