Recent examples of the firm’s deal work include advising Shikoku Electric Power (Yonden) on its landmark entry into the Indonesian energy market through the acquisition of a stake in Hero Global Investment (HGII). The deal involved extensive due diligence on over five green energy power plants. The firm designed the transaction structure to balance all parties' interests concerning permits, carbon credits, and taxation. A key feature of the innovative structure was the strategic decision for HGII to undertake a public listing prior to Yonden's share purchase, facilitating a successful market entry.
