Established in 1999, CMS is a leading international firm with a network that includes offices over 70 jurisdictions. The Croatian branch of the firm was established in 2003, in collaboration with Bardek Lisac Mušec Skoko and Partners based in Zagreb, and employs an expert team of associates and partners. The firm has a particular focus on project development and financial and corporate deals.   

Highlights

The firm acted as a legal advisor for IFC regarding a landmark green and blue loan of up to EUR 200 million, which IFC is granting to Maistra d.d., and HUP-Zagreb d. d. to finance their hotel projects. The transaction closed in July 2024. 

The team also advised on a financing transaction for the construction of the Valamar Collection Resort. The transaction was valued at EUR 130 million and closed in June 2024.
