This fully licensed office provides Vietnamese legal advice across major practice areas such as banking and finance, capital markets, and corporate and commercial law. The firm is a fully integrated office of the Allen & Gledhill regional network.  

Highlights  

Recent examples of the firm’s deal work include advising Phu My 3 Bot Power Company on the landmark transfer of Vietnam's first foreign-invested build-operate-transfer (BOT) power plant to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) upon the expiry of its 20-year term. This precedent-setting conclusion establishes a critical framework for the handover of subsequent BOT projects in Vietnam.  

The firm also acted as lead counsel to Mapletree Logistics Trust in its acquisition of two key Vietnamese logistics assets, Mapletree Logistics Park Phase 3 and Hung Yen Logistics Park I, from its sponsor, Mapletree Investments. This transaction was a sophisticated cross-border deal requiring seamless navigation of both Singaporean and Vietnamese legal frameworks.
