SRS Legal advised Bicredit – Sociedade Financeira de Crédito, S.A. (Originator) on its first asset backed securitisation in the Portuguese market (Bugio Finance n.1) of a EUR280 million portfolio of auto loans originated by Bicredit and approved by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) The operation met the structural and complex procedural eligibility criteria’s to be labed STS (Simple, Transparent and Standardised). This reflects Bicredit’s initial step in securitisation operations in the Portuguese market.
