SRS Legal is a leading Portuguese law firm founded in 1992 by Pedro Rebelo de Sousa. The firm has three offices in Lisbon, Porto and Funchal. The firm has a global network in Angola, Brazil, Macau, Malta, Mozambique and Singapore. The deal team is being led by managing partner César Sá Esteves and supported by prominent legal practitioners. The firm has a particularly strong practice in debt and equity capital markets but are also very active in banking, M&A and project finance.

Highlights

The firm advised the shareholders of Eurobic on the sale of 57.5 per cent of the bank's share capital to Abanca.

The firm advised Caixa Geral de Depósitos on the €35.5 million syndicated loan provided to a Portuguese hotel group operating in Cape Verde.

In M&A the firm advised Oxy Capital in the Iberian merger of two property management businesses invested by Oxy Capital in Portugal and Spain.
