Highlights
The firm has handled a range of notable matters including high-profile public M&A transactions, joint-venture agreements, private and public financings and refinancings, strategic acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Recently, it advised a group of private credit lenders including KKR funds and Blackstone fnuds on a senior secured financing package of £5.4bn to support the proposed offer to acquire Hargreaves Lansdown plc by a private equity consortium consisting of ADIA, CVC Capital Partners and Nordic Capital.
Another highlight saw the team, led by Oliver Richardson and Raulin Amy, advise Ardonagh on the acquisition of issued shares and subscription for shares in Tara Topco Limited, the parent company of the Ardonagh structure incorporated in the Cayman Islands, by funds managed by Stone Point Capital LLC.
In the investment funds space, the team had a successful year focusing on private equity, hedge fund management, joint ventures, investment funds, real estate, hybrid funds and various credit and debt funds. The team recently advised Index Ventures on the establishment of Index Ventures Growth VII (the "Fund"), which ranks first in the top ten biggest European 'mega-fund' launches of 2024.

Personnel Changes
In March 2024, Ogier hired corporate partner Bruce Scott, as well as corporate managing associate Nkechi Hokstad. The firm lost partner James Lydeard to Walkers in September 2024.
