• Advised a privately owned Sharia compliant commercial bank licensed by the Central Bank of Somalia on its acquisition of a 62.5% stake in a Kenyan Tier 3 bank.
• Acted for an operator of a luxury safari camp situated near Amboseli National Park, Kenya on the intended sale and purchase of the business and assets to a luxury camp operator with camps in the Samburu and Mara areas.
• Advised a Pan-African financial services holding company listed at the Nairobi Securities Exchange, Uganda Securities Exchange, and Rwanda Stock Exchange on a real estate project valued at USD 6,739,806.
• Acted for a top tier financial services provider in the meticulous preparation and perfection of all security documentation essential for a real estate project worth USD 15,420,000.
• Successfully represented our client, a leading Indian-based manufacturer of industrial refrigeration equipment in operation since 1962 in navigating complex international arbitration proceedings before the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
• Acting for a government-based retirement benefit scheme with a membership of over 7,000 pensioners established in 2006 on a matter involving the negotiation of a sale agreement intended to secure financing for the benefit of 80,720 pensioners.
• Advising a leading technology company headquartered in Pakistan on a securitization transaction with a commercial bank regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya.
