Intrum Justitia, a Swedish debt recovery firm, has acquired Top Factoring, a Romanian debt recovery firm, for €25 million from Reconstruction Capital II (RC2)
The deal also includes the acquisition of an NPL portfolio.
Top Factoring was 95% owned by RC2 with the remaining stake held by founder Catalin Neagu.
The deal is also linked to the acquisition by Glasro of a 74.5% interest in Telecredit IFN, a non-bank financial institution, which is also owned by Neagu.
Top Factoring was founded in 2006 and has 210 employees.
