VAT Group SFr621 million SIX IPO

Overview:

• VAT Group, a manufacturer of high-end vacuum valves and related products and services, has completed an IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
• The joint global coordinators exercised the full over-allotment option at SFr45 per share, representing 15% of the 12 million existing shares offered in the base offer. Including the shares placed in connection with the over-allotment option, a total of 13,800,000 existing shares were sold, corresponding to 46% of the share capital of the company.
• Niederer Kraft & Frey (Philippe Weber, Ulysses von Salis, Christina Del Vecchio, René Fischer, Alessandro Stanchieri) advised the issuer.
• Bär & Karrer (Till Spillmann, Andrea Giger, Mani Reinert and Philipp Gubler, Annina Dillier) advised the global coordinators, bookrunners and lead arrangers.
• Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Simone Bono, Ashar Qureshi, Taylor Souter, Erin Gray, Andreas Mueller) acted as international counsel to the global coordinators, bookrunners and lead arrangers.
