Overview:

  • Romania's Ministry of Finance has undertaken a €1.75 billion sovereign bond issue.
  • The issues consisted of €1 billion 2.375% notes due 2027 and €750 million 3.875% notes due 2035.
  • Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets, Erste Group Bank, Société Générale and ING acted as bookrunners.
  • The €750 million issue is a reopening of the country's 2015 issue.
