Overview:

  • Bpifrance has acquired a stake in Peugeot for €1.92 billion from Agence des Participations de l'Etat.
  • The stake is equal to 12.7% of the capital and 18.5% of the voting rights of the car manufacturer.  
  • The transaction takes place three years after the State bought a stake in Peugeot and will be effective after the vote in general meeting scheduled for May 10.
