Warburg Pincus Partners/VinaCapital joint venture

Overview:

• Warburg Pincus has announced a partnership with VinaCapital, the largest private equity firm in Vietnam, to create a fully integrated hospitality platform across Southeast Asia.
• The long-term vision of the joint venture (JV) is to capture the growth in tourist arrivals, from China in particular, to Southeast Asia over the future 5 to 10 years.
• The JV will be funded with up to approximately $300 million from Warburg Pincus and VinaCapital.
