Overview:

  • MK Group has acquired through subsidiary AIK Banka, the Serbian subsidiary of Greek bank Alpha Bank.
  • Alpha Bank Srbija has 67 branches across the country having opened its doors in 2002.
  • MK Group's acquired AIK Banka in July 2016.
  • The Hellenic Financial Stability Fund has stated that the Serbian subsidiaries of the four biggest Greek banks (Alpha Bank, Piraeus, Eurobank and the National Bank of Greece) are all up for sale as part of the wider restructuring of the Greek banking sector.
