Morgan Stanley/Wing/CC Real acquisition of AEW Europe Hungarian real estate portfolio

Overview:

• A consortium of Morgan Stanley, Wing and CC Real have acquired the Hungarian real estate assets of AEW Europe.
• The portfolio consists of the 44,000 square metre MOM Park shopping centre and office building; the 27,400 square metre West End Business Centre; and the 13,300 sq m EMKE office building.
• The deal is believed to be the largest Hungarian real estate deal since 2010.
• Financing for the deal was provided by Deutsche Pfandbriefbank and Erste Group Bank.
