Sodiba brewery project financing

Overview:

• Sodiba – Sociedade de Distribuição de Bebidas de Angola, secured $150 million to finance the construction and operation of a brewery in Angola. 
• The project financing included an Angolan banking syndicate and credit export agency financing.
• The Sodiba brewery has the capacity to produce 144 million liters a year, which can be easily extendable to 200 million. 
• The brewery will initially produce Portuguese beer Sagres, and will also launch a new Angolan beer called Luandina.
