Overview:

  • French private equity firm Eurazeo and US based Colony Capital have sold 22.5 million shares in hotel group Accor, which constitutes 9.65% of the company, within the scope of a private placement by way of an accelerated book building reserved for institutional investors. 
  • 11 million shares (4.72% of the capital) were sold by Legendre Holding for €536 million.
  • 11 million shares (4.93% of the capital) were be sold by Colday for €561 million.
  • Following the transaction Colday holds 6.0% of the share capital and 10.4% of the voting rights of Accor, and Legendre Holdings holds 5.2% of the share capital and 9% of the voting rights.
