Overview:

  • Vedici, a private healthcare company held by CVC Partners, completed the acquisition of clinic group Vitalia from private equity fund Blackstone, by way of an LBO. 
  • The acquisition was valued in the region of $1 billion. 
  • Following the acquisition the companies re-branded to Elsan, now a major player in the healthcare sector with more than 81 clinics and a turnover of around €1.2 billion.  
  • Financing for the acquisition took the form of a €575 million cove-lite European Senior TLB, as well as the sale and lease back of some of the target's real estate assets.
