Chinese consortium $1.6 billion acquisition of Fiba Holding share in Fiba Liman

Overview:

• A Chinese consortium including China Merchants, COSCO Pacific and the Leader Investment Corporation acquired Fina Holding's 65% stake in Fina Liman Hizmetleri Lojistik Denizcilik Ticaret ve Sanayi (Fina Liman) for approximately $1.6 billion.
• Fina Liman had full control over Kumport Liman Hizmetleri ve Lojistik Sanayi ve Ticaret, one of the largest container terminals in Turkey that handles 1.3 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) annually, 16% of Turkey's port container traffic.
