Morgan Stanley has issued $400 million in fixed-rate senior notes due 2036 under US securities law in Taiwan.
The notes were settled in Euroclear and Clearstream and are listed on the Taipei Exchange. They will be offered in Taiwan to professional institutional investors.
Davis Polk & Wardwell's Hong Kong and New York offices acted for the investment bank issuer, with partner Christopher Schell taking the lead. The tax team included partner Po Sit while partner Gregory Rowland took charge in providing 1940 Investment Company Act advice.
