Homebase acquisition of certain assets of Bathstore

Overview:

• Homebase has acquired certain assets of interiors retailer Bathstore, which is in administration.
• Homebase will take over 44 stores and 154 employees. The remaining 90 stores will be wound down.
• Bathstore entered administration in June after failing to find a buyer. BDO is acting as administrator.
• Homebase has highlighted that it intends to launch a number of Bathstore concessions in its own stores.
