Overview:

  • Real estate investment trust (REIT) Prologis has acquired Industrial Property Trust (IPT) in a $4 billion deal. 
  • IPT is a portfolio of industrial properties in the US that was formed by investment firm Black Creek in 2012. 
  • Morgan Stanley and Eastdil Secured acted as financial advisers for IPT. 
  • The transaction is expected to close in either late 2019 or early 2020.
