The deal is latest in a string of real estate acquisition made by Hong Kong investors - Emperor International Holdings £260 million acquisition of the Ampersand building, Kingboard Investments £400 million acquisition of 15 Canada Square, LKK Health Products Group £1.28 billion acquisition of 20 Fenchurch Street (Walkie Talkie) and GI Partners £250 million sale of Aldwych House.
