Overview:

  • Private equity firm Veritas Capital has acquired GE Healthcare's IT unit in a $1.05 billion deal. 
  • The unit consists of financial management, ambulatory care management and workforce management software groups. 
  • Morgan Stanley and Keval Health acted as financial advisers for GE, while Goldman Sachs and William Blair & Co advised Veritas. 
  • The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
