Overview:

  • Atlantia, ACS and Hochtief have completed the €16.5 billion takeover of Spanish toll road operator Abertis Infraestructuras.
  • Under the agreement, Atlantia will control 50% of the company and one share, ACS 30%, while Hochtief will control 20% and minus one share.
  • Goldman Sachs acted as financial adviser to Atlantia's Board of Directors.
  • The deal will create a partnership between the largest construction group in infrastructure projects and the largest concessions' portfolio.
