Ascendas acquisition of GIC/Frasers Property Australia logistics warehouses

Overview:

• Ascendas has acquired a portfolio of 26 logistics warehouses throughout Australia from Singapore's sovereign fund, GIC, and Frasers Property Australia. 
• CBA, ANZ and HSBC, has lent $1.073 billion to Ascendas as part of the deal.
• This deal is the second largest industrial property deal to date in the Asia Pacific region and the largest industrial property transaction in Australia.
