Overview:
- The Bursa Integrated Health Campus is a PPP hospital construction project in Turkey.
- BRS Sağlık Yatırım has undertaken the organisation of the project - including the design, construction, equipment, financing, management, equipment and maintenance.
- The Ministry of Health will be in charge of providing the medical services.
- The European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, the Promotion and Participation Company for Economic Cooperation, Siemens Bank and the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation have provided €390 million financing for the development of the project.
- The facility includes three hospitals with a total bed capacity of 1,355: a 1,055-bed main hospital, a 200-bed physical therapy and rehabilitation hospital and a 100-bed high security forensic psychiatry hospital. The main hospital facility consists of four buildings surrounding a shared core building that consists of a general hospital with a bed capacity of 283, a cardiovascular diseases hospital with a bed capacity of 271, an oncology hospital with a bed capacity of 250 and a maternity and children’s hospital, general hospital and a psychiatry hospital with a total bed capacity of 251.
- It is part of the Turkish Ministry of Health’s $10 billion plan to deliver twenty-nine PPPs and 41,000 new hospital beds, a programme that includes other projects in Adana, Bilkent, Elazığ, İzmir Bayraklı, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya Karatay, Mersin and Yozgat.
